Wishful Wednesday // Mason Jar Repurpose Tutorial

saw these on Pinterest + i have many mason jars + some leftover rubber animals + the need to cover ugly jar lids

let’s get started!

you’ll need some rubber animal toys + cleaned mason jars + max bond or any super strong glue + spray paint in your preferred colour

scratch the jar lid where you’re going to place the animal with a metal ruler or sandpaper to create a rough surface for glue to adhere

apply max bond thinly at the base of rubber toy, press and hold firmly for 12 seconds to adhere [note - max bond takes about 24hours to set, but you can go ahead to spray paint once the toy does not move]

spray gold effekt or any Krylon paint thinly, leave 2-3 minutes to dry between each layer, let dry after final coat

tadaa! golden duck + golden horse

i feel just a little bit more prosperous after having three golden lid jars ^_^
